Quilting Group
Our quilters gather every Monday at 9:00 am at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church. Our Quilting Group prepares quilts and baby care kits for Lutheran World Relief. Our quilts go to: local fundraisers, homeless shelters, victims of natural disasters etc.
March 2023 update: Our spring shipment is off, thanks to Jan and Ruth Haugen! Final count, 114 quilts and 201 babycare kits. Thank you, everyone, who pitched in to assemble and pack. It is a job the Monday
morning quilters can't do anymore. Due to some conflicts by several of the Monday morning group,
we will not meet Monday, April 17. Please join us, starting the next Monday.

September 2023 update: God’s Work Our Hand’s Day Sunday, the congregation assembled more kits toward the goal of having 250 kits to send to Lutheran World Relief in October. That same day, School Bags, which were sewn over the summer were filled with school supplies. On September 24 quilts, Baby Kits, and School Bags were blessed, and the next day most were boxed and sealed, ready to ship. Mid October we shipped 126 quilts, 73 school bags and 254 baby kits to Lutheran World Relief.
With two busy and productive final Monday workdays, our Lutheran World Relief kits and quilts are ready to ship. The work continues, every Monday, from 9 - 2. Please join us.
